Senior Director, PharmEng Innovations BenAstrum Expert Affiliate Speaker Bio: With a B.Sc in Chemistry and PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry from the University of Hong Kong, Y.C. Lee brings with him close to two decades of pharmaceutical development experience in analytical development, validation, experimental design, drug product specifications and stability testing. Having served as Manager of the Analytical Research Laboratory at Eli Lilly & Company, as well as Director of Analytical Development for Patheon, Inc., Dr. Lee oversaw more than 40 new chemical entities (NCEs) for global regulatory submissions in commercial production. In addition to his extensive work experience, Dr. Lee founded PharmLink Inc. at York University (Canada) in 2005, a company offering comprehensive consulting services to its pharmaceutical clients in R&D and Compliance. PharmLink recently joined the PharmEng family to become PharmEng Innovations, where Dr. Lee now serves as Senior Director. He is also the Founder of the Calibration & Validation Group (CVG), a non-profit organization composed of over 1,500 analytical and formulation scientists from the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, as well as academia and government agencies across Canada. Dr. Lee is also an esteemed Editor of the book, “Analytical Method Validation and Instrument Performance Verification”, published by John Wiley & Sons. PharmEng Technology Inc.
